Agutaya is a 5th class municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 10,422 people in 2,040 households.

An Agutaynen is one who traces his roots or origin from Agutaya, and identifies himself as such.
An Agutaynen-by-heart is one who may not necessarily have origin or roots in Agutaya, but who have soft spot for Agutaya/Agutaynen either because he has resided therein and has embraced the culture and tradition of the Agutaynens, or is related by affinity to an Agutaynen.
